This is an amazing and totally unique blend of melted-looking Acanthite crystals draped by thin carpets of tiny chalcopyrite crystals that look like copper blankets atop the silvery gray silver-species. These are actually very huge, robust Acanthite crystals, but deformed as they grew so they look almost biological. The Acanthites are smooth and look more like modern art than the normal kind of Acanthite crystallization we expect from here. It has crystals all around! Other than some contacting on the sides and bottom, it is mostly crystallized all around, although the Polybasite matrix itself has some crystals that are not complete. Small tiny stephanite crystals are also present. Peter Megaw Mexican collection.
