Los Lamentos is most famous for its bright orange Wulfenites that originate from the Erupcion portion of the mine; however, the Ahumada portion of the mine produces these gorgeous and classic Endlichites. Endlichite is a varietal term for Arsenian Vanadinite that is an intermediate between Vanadinite and Mimetite in composition. A multitude of intertwined Endlichite sheaves composed of slender, prismatic, super lustrous, silvery bronze crystals make up this exceptional classic. The luster is so incredible on this piece it almost looks metallic! Los Lamentos has produced some of the best examples of this Arsenian Vanadinite variety. This is one of the best pieces in its size category. We prefer this to be hand delivered as it cannot be shipped easily. Ex Matt McGill collection.
