This is an exceptional and architectural Anhydrite piece from finds at Naica over 30 years ago in the early 1980s. The two component crystals are aggregates composed of thin, elegant individual crystals that give the piece depth and add to the aesthetics. The two Anhydrites measure 10.7 cm and 10.4 cm in length, respectively and are a lovely, pale dusty-blue with a noticeable silky luster. Although once fairly plentiful when originally recovered in the mid-1980s, this Anhydrite specimen would nevertheless be considered large for the locality. In terms of quality, it ranks highly against finds both then and now.The light dusty-blue color and silky luster are especially attractive. This is a striking and very displayable piece! Ex.
