This is an important, and very colorful, combination specimen from Callenberg North in Saxony. It is comprised of reddish-orange Crocoite crystals to several mm and orange-brown Embreyite that is more botryoidal but not always easily seen, all on a matrix that is dominated by greenish-yellow Vauquelinite. Crocoite was found here between 1977 and 1986, with the mine closing down in 1990. This isn't a knockout in terms of aesthetics, but the combination is unusual and desirable, so this is a great locality piece. Ex Scott Williams, who knew of Kay's fondness for Peter Embrey.
