Large examples of these classic wulfenite/mimetite combination specimens are rare on the market today, as they only came out in the 1970s, and again in the early 1990s. his one would be 1970s vintage, as it came from an older collection. This is a very showy, colorful cabinet piece with GEM wulfenite crystals with top luster, to 3 cm, mixed with deep orange mimetite balls. The piece is not pristine - no surprise given the fragility and age of these - but it is darned close. It is very 3-dimensional and has great relief especially when seen in person. Joe Budd photos.
