- Rosasite After Malachite After Azurite With Smithsonite and Cerussite
- Tsumeb, Southwest Africa
- Small Cabinet, 6.5 x 5.1 x 5.1 cm
- Ex. Carl Bosch; Carl Acosta
This is an old, classic, Tsumeb double pseudomorph with large crystals of rosasite after malachite, after azurite. The largest tabular rosasite crystal is 4.5 cm in length and exhibits a matte luster along with a slight forest green color. Minor smithsonite and cerussite make up the matrix. This specimen carries an old Bosch label and is a wonderful example of the treasures from early Tsumeb days.
