Cabinet, 12.1 x 8.7 x 6.2 cm

This specimen is composed of botryoidal, lustrous and translucent, sky blue to aquamarine blue, gibbsite, an uncommon aluminum hydroxide. Here it occus in rich masses composed of spheres to 3 mm across. This new find is possibly the world's best of species for intensity in coloration. Very pretty material! Very lightweight. The largest of the better-quality pieces I saw for sale in a whole table of the pocket, laid out at the Shanghai show in April 2012.
