A GORGEOUS and to my knowledge unique thumbnail crystal, of totally gem clarity, that shows a pure pink color when lit from top or bottom. From the sides, it has a strange pink-purple mix of hues, but it really goes solid pink when well lit. I have not seen another like this, and aside from the color it is a fine thumbnail tanzanite in terms of condition and quality (complete all around, and pristine, with superb luster). Unusual!
