Here is a great old locality specimen of Vivianite from Bolivia. Subscribers to the Mineralogical Record know that and entire issue was dedicated to this unique and historic locality not long ago. This miniature size piece features beautiful, semi lustrous, gemmy, blue green color, prismatic crystals of Vivianite measuring up to 1.1 cm associated with tan discs of Siderite with a "dusting" of black Sphalerite sitting atop gem quality "needle" Quartz matrix. This material is rarely seen in today's market and this particular specimen is at least 25 years old.
