Nestled in a vug are pearlescent, disc shaped, crystals of white dickite, to .2 cm across. This is a rare member of the kaolinite-serpentite group. In fact, it is basically CRYSTALLIZED CLAY, if you want to look at it on a basic level. very interesting andunusual material, and these are fine crystals from an old locale.
