A crust of velvety, spheres of lovely, sky blue shattuckite, a rare copper silicate, is nestled in a vug. The largest sphere measures .7 cm across. Usually, shattuckite is found as an inclusion in quartz. These freestanding crystals are gorgeous, and the piece is unusually rich.
