Shattuckite is a rare copper silicate hydroxide mineral with formula Cu5(SiO3) 4(OH) 2. It was actually first discovered at Bisbee, but is best-known today in specimens from Africa. Often seen from Kaokoveld, Namibia, this one is from a very unusual locality, Mesopotamia (also in Namibia). It features a shallow pocket with deep blue-green balls of shattuckite.
