This is no ordinary Las Vigas amethyst. The color and intense gemminess of the crystals is so good that it is hard to describe - more like a gem than a quartz specimen! Under case light, the color is a shocking purple/scarlet - the specimen just glows. And it is beautifully balanced and trimmed out, with the smaller crystals perfectly accenting the large one.
