Dyscrasite
Shaft 21, Pribram, Bohemia, Czech Republic
Miniature, 3.7 x 2.8 x 2.7 cm

A stunning and sculptural specimen by any standards. The needles and blades of Dyscrasite range up to 2.1 cm long and up to 4 mm wide, have a nice metallic luster, and can be smooth to beautifully striated. The arrangement of the crystals in clusters and on the contrasting matrix gives this an aesthetic appeal that is almost unmatched for sheer dramatic display. You almost never see them on white matrix! These were found in the mid-1980s at this old mining site.
