As with the pink fluorites from the same locality, until these creedites were discovered, good crystallized specimens were exceedingly rare and expensive from ANY locality. Suddenly, you could own a really fine creedite without selling your house to get it. Then, about 6 months ago, we heard that the mining was FINISHED, apparently for good. This is a huge specimen, covered with large, gemmy orange creedite crystals to 1.5 centimeters in length! This sort of size and richness in creedite was just unheard of until this find - and likely will be again once they are all gone!
