A fine pseudomorph of Chalcedony after Calcite from the Namib Desert. The blades of what is now Chalcedony are delicate in nature, and fascinating in appearance. The largest, which is 1.6 cm across, is light tan and translucent. There are also very attractive dendritic growths (manganese or iron oxides) within the blade similar to what is often found in agates. Ex. Charlie Key.
