Two GIGANTIC, translucent calcite crystals, with hematite coloring selectively on the faces on one side, giving this specimen an amazing presence and emphasizing its strange scaly faces! This is not, as some Chinese specimens are, from a big find with lots of pieces available, but is quite unique and specimens like it are certainly not widely available; in fact you will not see anything like it with any Chinese dealers these days. This large showpiece came out of the collection of Ed David.
