This is a gorgeous and unusual piece. It is a complete hollow vug, or pocket, filled with a soft carpet of rounded aurichalcite. It is just plain pretty. Such things just do not usually survive and come out intact, and this is a great way to see how such minerals form in the mines, in their pockets.
