A STRIKING and RARE specimen from Mina Ojuela of lustrous, robins eggs-blue aurichalcite needles attractively lining a vug in contrasting limonite matrix. Common in the 1960s, but to quote the Mineralogical Record Special Issue on Mina Ojuela (Sept.-Oct., 2003) aurichalcite, "it is a rare mineral on the market today."
