A superb, very gemmy and transparent tourmaline from this unusual locale for gem tourmalines today. However, in the past, it produced a lot of material in the 1980s and 1990s, much of which was cut. The crystal is in near-pristine condition, though it has a few very minor chips or dings to it. This is balanced by its glassy luster, transparency and fancy colors. Joe Budd photos.
