This aesthetic, curving cluster of talc crystals was collected by Bob sometime in the 1960s and, not too long ago, was nominated to be the Vermont State Mineral Species type example. So, here, you can own the ACTUAL SPECIMEN that was nominated and pictured and illustrated for the application to name the Vermont State Mineral (as reported in Rocks & Minerals). Now, aside from that, it HAPPENS ALSO TO BE A DARNED GOOD EXAMPLE of this classic. Most people consider this mine to have produced the best examples of crystallized talc on the planet, and such as this, with intense green color, are desired at a premium price by collectors.
