Black Pine Mine, Phillipsburg, Montana, USA
Only a few small pockets were found, over 20 years ago now, of these world's best veszelyite crystals at this small copper mine in Montana. Now shut, there is no hope of more, either. Today, choice thumbnails seldom turn up for sale, generally only as old collections are dispersed. Here is part of a small stash, hoarded away. This is an exceptional cluster of crystals with rare quartz matrix (few matrix specimens were found and sold to collectors!). The crystals have deep, riveting color and high luster.
