Miniature, 4.3 x 3.1 x 0.8 cm
This specimen presents a solid display face of superb, sharp euchroite crystals to 7 mm in size. This and the following two specimens were obtained by trimming a specimen from an old collection, in which the crystals faced different directions in the micaceous matrix, to make 3 very fine miniatures. One almost never sees rich plates of euchroite crystals, as opposed to sparse coverage or tiny crystals on big matrices. This kind of dense coverage by relatively large crystals is very significant. These are from old finds, almost certainly in the early to mid-1800s, at this important locality for the species. (Type Locality)
