- Meionite Var. Mizzonite
- Pianura, Campagna, Italy (TYPE LOCALITY)
- Small Cabinet, 6.6 x 5.8 x 2.0 cm

Small crystals embedded in massive matrix, a representative locality example. It is possible the locality has a different name today, as I cannot find a reference to it. The species formerly known as Mizzonite is a varietal/member of the Marialite-Meionite series with a dominant Marialite fraction. Ex. American Museum of Natural History, Clarence Bement collection, donated in 1910. This is the type locality for marialite.
