Surely this has to be among the largest crystals for the species?! I have certainly never seen one of such size. this isolated crystal measures, tip to tip, over 3.5 cm! It has the best royal blue color, absolutely gorgeous and nearly unique in minerals. It is somewhat crude around the edges as are most larger carletonites, but truly terminated around all the edges except for part of the bottom corner and the back face which are naturally contacted (again, not damaged per se).
