Who hasn't wanted to trek to Elk Creek and crack open a nodule out of the Pierre Shale to find a world class Barite in yellow Calcite? And if I had, this is the razor-sharp chisel-point crystal that I would have loved to find. Absolutely water clear, it has a fantastic amber color and perfect, and I mean perfect, luster. The amazing thing is that the TERMINATION is perfet and not coated or etched as they usually are, making most crystals an "almost" in my book. Killer killer killer all the way for a gem crystal of any species, and a major addition to any thumbnail suite of gem crystals, i'd say.
