Attractive, delicate-looking fan of superb quality Azurite crystals, with Malachite, from the Christiana Mine in Lavrion. The spray of Azurite blades contrasts beautifully with the rounded balls of the deep-green Malachite, with these differences in form and color creating a fine aesthetic. But most impressive of all is the super-high luster and appealing, translucent blue glow of the thin Azurites. In fact, the luster and glow are both so dramatic that you can actually see the glowing reflections of one Azurite on the neighboring crystal. You almost never see this effect so clearly, and this is without even trying to make it happen! There is a small amount of edgewear on the soft Azurite, but this remains an outstanding thumbnail.
