Tarnished metallic dark grey prismatic crystals forming a stalactite make for a strange, unusual example of this rare cobalt mineral (a rare cobalt, nickel, iron arsenate). From the famous Cobalt area of Ontario, Canada, the Cobalt Lode Mine was a silver-cobalt-nickel-copper mine was in operation from 1908 to the late 1950's.
