This speaks for itself - it is a superbly geometric, equant, rather large pezzottaite crystal and has a visual appeal to the color saturation and intensity. However, it also was one of the first complete crystals to hit the market, from the original pocket, and in fact we obtained it back at that time. It was fun to see Alex's description in his catalog: This is the newly discovered and named Pezzottaite, or cesium-rich beryl species. A rich pink, translucent to transparent, well formed, lustrous, symmetrical tabular xtl. Rob Lavinsky acquired it in 2002 (from Laurent Thomas) before it was identified as a new species at the time thought to be a cesium-rich beryl. Photo by Jeff Scovil. Note: I then sold it to Irv Brown, and from there it went to Brian Kosnar, and then to Alex a decade later. It is now also featured in the book, Refined Elegance (Mineralogical Record, Nov. 2022) on page 92.
