This is a fantastic thumbnail of paired, near gem Willemite clusters from a unique occurrence at Tsumeb in the early 1980s! This fine Willemite thumbnail is glassy, translucent, and sparkling like a disco ball from all the reflections of the small crystals pointing outwards. Inside, the core has cutting rough - we have seen some of these cut into gems. It's like a glassy, robust, gemmy to translucent, pale peach colored bow tie. This type of Willemite was from one pocket found decades ago at this incredibly famous locality and very rare on the market today. It is is perfect condition save the point of contact on one end of the piece. Another fascinating aspect of this miniature is that it fluoresces under short wave UV and under long wave. This is a stunning competition-level thumbnail Willemite from a single find, unique in the world to this day. Complete 360 degrees!
