Carrollite is a rare copper, cobalt, nickel sulfide, with the very finest of the species coming from DR Congo, from finds dating to the late 1990s-early 2000s. This excellent thumbnail is sharp, well-defined, and has a bright metallic luster. It is from the "glory pocket" of the late 1990s (1998 or 1999) and came from the Gobin brothers at that time, who brought out the best of them. A significant thumbnail specimen!
