This is a really aesthetic Berthierite spray from classic old discoveries in Baia Sprie, Romania out of the Kay Robertson collection. Berthierite is a rare iron-antimony sulfosalt and this is the best locality for the species. This small cabinet piece features three primary bundles of divergent, acicular, silvery gray metallic crystals to 6 cm in length, which are large for the species. This mine has a remarkable list of species and it operated nearly continuously since the early part of the 14th Century! Ex. Kay Robertson.
