This was an unusual 2016 find that produced such beautiful specimens, we bought them regardless of which rare species they might turn out to be at the time! This is one of the best miniatures for color and quality, long put away. The blue botryoids were at the time they came out incorrectly identified as gibbsite, an Al-oxide and very uncommon, worldwide. Doyleite is a polymorph of Gibbsite. Polymorphs are two or more minerals that contain the same chemical composition, but differ in their atomical arrangement and crystal structure.
