In a fashion, this specimen resembles its Bisbee and Chinese cousins. However, the quantity from Brazil is much smaller. These came out about a decade ago and have been scarce since then. The lustrous spheres of azurite reach 1.0 cm across and the malachite spheres reach .7 cm across. This is a really attractive large plate, showing great color and a bit of color contrast from the alteration of some Azurite to Malachite
