- San Pedro Corralitos, Chihuahua, Mexico
- Thumbnail, 2.6 x 1.8 x 1.6 cm
- Ex. Jennie Areson
This absolutely classic Mexican material was found only one time in late 1968, and then never seen again! Spheres to 9mm, perched on a sparing matrix, make this a full sized thumbnail specimen. For a thumbnail, of which there were few enough truly great ones, this is as good as you can ask for. It has the sparkle and highest color saturation! In addition, it has a little bit of matrix and that matrix look is absolutely uncommon, nearly unheard of - and takes the game up a level for how this specimen can hold its own in a competitive thumbnail collection. It stands out, simple as that.
