The White Caps Mine of Nevada is well-known for the finest Stibnites found in North America. Specimens were rare at the time, and are even harder to come by now - this is a competition-worthy example from this old classic locality, and among the finest American-origin examples of the species one can own. This three-dimensional small cab is exceptional in every way, with crystals that reach 4.2 cm. It is dramatic and sculptural, with brilliant, metallic crystals that have a gorgeous, light, silvery-blue patina. Specimens of this size, richness and quality are rarely available and are highly desired. The mine produced intermittently from 1865 to about 1958.
