Ex. Herb Obodda

Petalite is a fairly rare lithium aluminum silicate, and occasionally superb gemmy crystals like this one are found among the beautiful Tourmalines and Beryls for which Paprok is known. This particular Petalite is large and transparent, with a luster that varies from silky to excellent. The largest face is glassy, but it is difficult to determine if this is actually a growth face or a perfect cleave. Either way, the overall crystal is exemplary, and it has been slightly etched, as most are. This single, cabinet size crystal is a choice and impressive example of the species. Large, at 370 grams.
