A classic from the type locality. A granular, fine-grained aggregate consisting of black, subhedral lindqvistite with brown internal reflections, gray-black, subhedral to euhedral dipyramids of jacobsite, and black plumboferrite inter-grown with white dolomite and localized bands of malachite and minor azurite. Lindqvistite is a rare lead manganese iron oxide; plumboferrite is an oxide of similar but more complex crystal chemistry and jacobsite is a manganese iron oxide. Specimens exhibiting good malachite and azurite from Langban are not common! Ex. Paulo Matioli collection.
