A mounded surface of beraunite and possibly dufrenite and rockbridgeite is covered with a vibrant olive green coating of kidwellite, a rare hydrated sodium iron phosphate hydroxide, which is augmented by 1mm, spheres of pale pink to lavender strengite, especially on one side of the piece. This has excellent coverage of kidwellite and is an attractive exemplar for the species! An old specimen collected by our old Texas colleague and friend, Al Kidwell, as noted on the Fender Minerals label. This is a rich example, and a rare display quality specimen.
