Very rich piece with a thick fracture filling containing a seam of pearly white aravaipaite as well as microcrystals. Platy crystals are colorless to white with a vitreous to pearly luster. The matrix is a breccia containing quartz, anglesite, fluorite and a black veinlet of an undetermined composition. Aravaipaite is an exceptionally rare and unusual hydrated lead aluminum fluoride. One of the best from a one-time find at the type and only locality. Ex. Les and Paula Presmyk collection with label. This was obtained by exchange from this significant Arizona collection.
