- Small Cabinet, 8.1 x 3.3 x 2.5 cm
- Kermesite occurrence, Dafeng, Shanglin Co., Nanning Prefecture, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China
I have not seen or had a good one of these for sale since 2005 - this was ONE POCKET that came out somewhere in the early 2000's, and we have not seen any more since of this magnitude that made them the world's largest examples of the species by far. An uncommon antimony, sulfur, oxide, kermesite occurs at other locales but a ssmaller and more acicular crystals. These are simply shocking. The crystals on this specimen emanate from a common center, then split into divergent, very lustrous, dark gray crystals, to 7 cm in length.
