- Chrysocolla Ps. Azurite
- Thumbnail, 2.8 x 1.4 x 0.9 cm
- Silica Pit, Ray Mine, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
- Ex. Jim White; Ernest Schlichter
A classic example of the rare, stereotypic replacements of azurite by chrysocolla which have historically come from this mine. Rare in such a nice crystal. Complete 360 and without damage. I bought this and some other pieces in this update from the collection of Ernie Schlicter back around 2007 before it was sold. This is a large thumbnail/toenail sized specimen that displays fully in a TN box.
