Superb example of the classic "Kidney Ore" Hematite from the old iron district that helped found the Industrial Revolution, specifically the Beckermet Mine, Egremont, England. The color is a wonderful silvery brick-red, with dazzling luster. The base is richly coated with sparkly micro crystals of Specularite. Highly desirable, with out of this world aesthetics!
