A superb cluster of gemmy, hexagonal Thaumasite crystals on matrix. The luster and gemminess is exceptional. The largest prismatic crystals have an amazing size range of 1.4 - 2.1 cm, while most average a still-impressive .5 cm, and they generously cover the matrix. This rare gem species is related to Ettringite and Sturmanite. Small bits of white xonotlite are in association. Very aesthetic, and likely from the great find of 2005. One of the best Thaumasite specimens I have seen for sale, it is glorious and sparkling, as if they are little gems.
