A sharp, deep red crystal from the type locality, collected over 40 years ago and recently "uncovered" in an old collection. It has a riveting, deep color and translucency to it. Although contacted here and there, and with a few small dings, it is otherwise complete. So far as we know, this is one of the largest examples of the species. Until this little stash came to light of day, I had no idea these even EXISTED beyond micro-sized. This is a monster!
