Specimens of saleeite briefly came out of this remote mine about 10 years ago in large part due to a combined collecting/museum-access recovery programme. Pieces were traded by several museums in Australia, and sold by one dealership. And then there were none...seemingly all gone from the market, now. This is the first good one I have turned up in a number of years, and is a stunning small cab with sharp, lustrous, bright crystals to 1.5 cm. It is both elegant, and beautiful, as well as important for the species.
