- Mashamba West Mine, Kolwezi, Western area, Katanga Copper Crescent, Katanga (Shaba), Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaire)
A very rare barium, copper vanadate, this species is almost impossible to find in large concentrated form as the present specimen. This glistening, sparkling piece is composed of microcrystalline vesignieite on a cast of the same mineral after something else (now rounded). It is a hollowed cast, complete inside and out, covered all over by sparkling sugar-like secondary crystals. Ex. Bill Pinch Collection.
