A superb crystal 1.5 cm across dominates this specimen of uvite with magnesite, from Bahia, where this combination is classic. The crystals are a beautiful bottle green, very lustrous and quite gemmy under good light. They are aesthetically intergrown with gemmy rhombs of magnesite.
