Sparkling, pastel-yellow, gemmy thaumasite crystals to 9 mm completely cover front and particularly the crest of this nicely shaped matrix. This is a very fine and rich specimen from the find. They actually came out labeled as ettringites, but it has now been shown they are the much rarer member of that series. Ex. Rob Smith Collection.
