The finds of beautiful crystallized sulfur in Bolivia came at a great time, when old specimens from Sicily have become really hard to get and expensive, and only a trickle is coming from Russia. The crystals on this BIG plate are PARTICULARLY gemmy; not opaque bright yellow, but TRANSPARENT. The specimens from this find have not been this nice and gemmy for some time now - this one was cherry-picked awhile back; the crystals are like little bright yellow gems - MUCH brighter and prettier in person!! 17.6 x 9.4 x 5.0 cm
